My stake is that you have to declare all your old usernames and I will do the same with all my multi and banned accounts.

What I like about him is his trajectory. He keeps improving season on season and still only 22/23. He might not end up our front line striker but I think he'll at least be a useful member of the squad.

I truly believe in 3/4 years, he will be the face of the English team. Hes put the work in the gym, has carisma, has personality, works hard for the full 90 minutes, ball skills have improved, all we need are the outside shots to start netting in the corner. I just dont understand how some people hate on this lad after the season he is having for us.

Richarlison has too many games where he is either bang up for it or spends more time outside the box doing other things which is why for me he should be used more out wide where he can cut inside / make darting runs into the box.


The pair together are just not clinical enough.

1 goal against Burnley
1 goal against Brighton
1 goal against Norwich
1 goal against Man City
1 goal against Utd
0 goals against Chelsea
0 goals against Liverpool

Just some of the results under Carlo - the Watford game aside we simply are not clinical enough - even against Newcastle and Arsenal when we scored twice we missed loads of chances to put the game to bed and were punished for it.

...Andy Gray or Adrien Heath weren’t particularly prolific but played alongside Sharp in title winning teams (Lineker was prolific in the season we just missed out).

I think DCL/Richarlison are fine, I can see that combination being successful but its all dependent on getting real quality in wide positions. The wide players have to contribute goals and assists. We are a long way short of that.

Thats my point mate - someone like Lukaku alongside one of DCL or Richarlison would be amazeballs.

I've been pretty clear in saying I don't think we are one season away from CL. It isn't just the quality in the squad. Teams need to build continuity in a system that we won't have right away.

Maybe a bet on DCL's goal total but I think we should see the last few games before setting a line.

....it doesn’t always work out that way. United looked like a goalscorer would transform them but Lukaku didn’t.

Lukaku doesn’t work the channels or isn’t as competitive as either Richarlison or DCL. I’ve been to matches where we’ve been under the cosh and he’s not helped the cause at all.
 
DCL coming on well & improving all the time...

Cahill was talking about him making better runs & choosing better options which all made perfect sense...

Would like to see Cahill mentor DCL as well as Duncan & Ancelotti he gives a totally different perspective of the game & was a master at ghosting in himself.....
 

If we stick with 4-4-2 I'd like to see Ricky back on the wing and a goalscorer next to DCL, he's improved massively but we are desperate for goals and he isn't enough of a threat for me. Having someone to play off him would work better.

I have no clue lad, I don’t play FM so I can’t tell you about all the up and coming strikers that are around at the minute.

I suppose that’ll be up to Brands, to find someone that fits that role. If he can bring in another goal scoring LW then they could stick with Richarlison up there. We need more goals, either way.

More goals will come through a combination of better creative play and finding some wingers and hopefully a CM who can contribute. Maybe in a year or two we look at the strikers but not now.

You don’t think we need another striker? I think it should be a priority, with a new CM.

If DCL or Richarlison don’t score, we struggle, last night was a good example of that. The pair of them didn’t look like scoring.

They can’t play every game as well and Kean is some way off being the player we need.
