Mora not nonsense. His goals are fortunate 80% of the time. He’s got a lot of deflections , Kepler errors and massive defensive errors. If you rely on themto score your goals , you are not a decent striker. You have to be clinical and the good ones score goals that are difficult to execute. Greenwood is clinical, Ings is clinical, Rashford , Richy and they’re not even the best in the league. He is a work horseand lacks any composure , power or placement When trying to finish.

Please go on YouTube, watch his 15 goals this season, and tell me which of these (80%) were just fortunate goals.

That chance he had last night that he hit with his left , that deflected and was saved is exactly the same thing he has been doing for years and every now and again he gets lucky and it goes in. He’s literally doing the same thing. I was actually surprised he didn’t run into the defender looking for a pen if I’m honest

He's not clinical but he's not actually a bad finisher....although the eyes can often suggest otherwise.

Our view is skewed by that fact that we see every minute of every Everton game and remember it. The same scrutiny isn't applied (by most of us) to other players at other clubs so we don't have such a detailed memory or have never actually seen the poor touches, misplaced passes and scuffed shots.

XG virgin mode shows that his overall finishing isn't drastically behind anyone bar the absolute best strikers in Europe in terms of taking quality chances. Every striker misses them fairly often.

When you see a striker continually messing with his hair trying to make it look nice and pulling the length of his shorts up to show more thigh for the cameras as he is walking out on to the pitch before the match has even kicked off, there is a strong likelihood that scoring is not the top of his priorities and even if he if thinks it is he will be held back by not wanting to get his hair messed up.

That is DCL before and during every match since the restart.

Not just picking on him btw. 95% of the team are an embarrassment to the club.

Aaaaand we're back with our recurring segment Armchair Psychological Analysis of Players I Don't Like!

I think you are spot on there Claus, I tend to listen to other players and other managers when they talk about outer players. They often slag off those we adore and praise those we slaughter. I think this is down to them seeing glimpses as you say. However, almost all the strikers who speak of him, speak well of him. That says far more to me than lads on here most of whom know as much as I do. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, that is what a forum is about, but so many seem to think he is good, it does make me wonder why so many blues are determined to think him bad?

Aaaaand were back with our recurring segment of armchair beauts who have got nothing better to do than browse through other members previous posts so they can try and get a few laughs and look like the big man.

A timely reminder of why i tend to not post here as often anymore.

So basically, can't be arsed to watch his goals back.

The ultimate way to judge a CF is by their goals/finishing ability and DCL over 3 years is average in that regard.

He can head a ball? So can Andy Carroll/ Troy Deeney.

He works hard? So does Shane Long

He is a nice lad? So is Steven Naismith

Ultimately if we want to progress and challenge for the CL/Europe spots he can't be a guaranteed starter in the side.

How many of those names you’ve mentioned have hit 15 goals in a season (in top tier English football).

We’ve worshipped strikers in the past who havent even made single figures season after season yet we’re knocking a lad who’s hit 15 in a team that doesn’t create chances.

I think you've posted something like this on pretty much every page of this thread

He's younger than any of those examples that you've given and has already scored more goals in a single season than any of them have ever managed in the prem
