We have asked him to change his game to be a fox in the box, he will score if he gets service but a lot of the other good qualities he has are not as obvious in that role. I don't care if he's putting it in the back but we have to feed the guy and he's getting nowhere near the service he was getting at the start of the season.
Thing is to “feed” him the chances he needs to score we have to work the ball wide and get crosses in as he can’t finish through balls. That’s fine as long as it’s works but it makes us very one dimensional and with our wide options being richy, Coleman , Godfrey , holgate, iwobi and digne ... only digne can actually deliver decent crosses consistently. We need a striker in a different mould for when it’s not working and with James in the team and more than capable of splitting defences having a natural finisher in the team would be nice to have

He should be doing better with that late on...BUT....keeper come out very fast to his feet and saves very well.

Thats the other end, and we are raving about Olsen again.

Missing the chance at the end doesn't bother me really, he should have done better but you'll always miss chances like that. I'm more bothered about the two chances he had in the first half to be honest, they were both very presentable opportunities and he didn't ever really look like scoring either of them. Not saying they were sitters or anything, they obviously weren't, but they were the sort of opportunity that might be the best sight of goal you get in some games and you have to do better than that. It's something he really needs to work on. Great that he got the goal though, and I actually thought first half he looked a lot livelier than he has recently.

Bit harsh if you mean the chance at the end. Did you see how far he'd run at top pace, at the end of a game played at such high tempo. Given how much he's improved the different aspects of his game the last couple of years, I don't think it'll be long before he's creating things more himself and slotting different all different types of chances. I think his runs to create the space for a chance have improved tenfold this season as well, the finishes will come.

When he gets interviewed I think he’s getting a bit peed off with them mentioning Big Dunc influence all the time.
Just a side issue I suppose

Contributes so much to the team effort that the goals are almost an added bonus.
For the chance at the end we must remember he had sprinted eighty yards to get to a position where he had the chance after being back doing defensive duties.
He works so hard all around the pitch that I don't think he will ever rise to huge numbers of goals scored and in any event we are not a team at present that creates lots of chances.

Not sure about this. Nowhere near the finished article. There are a few things he can do better. Think the one thing he can work on is his team contribution, particularly like looking up and sliding a ball through to a player in a better position of scoring.

does he though? I don't think he does actually. I think he doesn't get involved at all and comes alive when the ball is in the box. Not that theirs anything wrong with that as he's scoring goals, but I think he needs to do more. He doesn't stretch teams anymore
