When we play two up top he’s nowhere near as likely to score because he can’t play the total Insaghi roll of being around the six yard box sniffing out goals. On the flip side, Richarlison is much more likely to score in a front two rather than on the left. Both good options, if we win I don’t care which we utilise!

Looked knackered tonight
Yeah thought he wasn’t putting himself about as much as usual. Just back from a hamstring injury and we’re running him into the ground because we’ve no options. Letting Kean go to PSG without anyone coming in was poor, relying on him so much to lead the line.

We have signed King so we do have another option....clearly he doesn’t give us what DCL does in training otherwise he would have started tonight

Always thought King was more of a wide forward, not a back to goal lead the line centre forward. Massive drop off from him to DCL. We shouldn’t have let Kean go out on loan without getting in a centre forward. Think we caved because he wanted away and to keep Mina Raiola sweet, poor.

ideally you would be right but I think he as in Kean was on a strop and wanted to go.

Obviously had the hump because he wasn’t starting front of DCL maybe ?

I honestly don't see Kean staying as long as Big Dunc is around.

I think Big Dunc has contributed a lot more to the club by developing DCL, and needs to stay on.

It stinks that the situation is what it is, but I think we've done the best we could under the circumstances.

Next step for Dom to reach Zlatanverse is to sort one on ones next season

....he scores goals but he’s not a goalscorer per se. As I always say, when he has a chance ‘I hope he scores’ as opposed to ‘expecting he scores’.

it’s similar in the air, he’s a beast getting on the end of crosses but Richarlison is a better header of the ball.

Richarlison has a picture in his mind of where he is and where the keeper will be, DCL doesn’t have that ability as yet.

That's been a problem for a while - Rico needs to be central to net regularly, but doing that crowds DCL out of pure poaching.

With DCL's improved hold-up play, I think we can get away with two up top and wait for DCL to figure out the 12-15 yard opportunities.
