People slagging off his overall game are they? I must’ve missed his poor performances because I was too busy seeing him be the only player in the team who can hold the ball up, win free kick after free kick, get the ball further up their half, link up with the front three, terrorise defenders and not wilt under any physical contact.

But he didn’t score in a game we won so he’s obviously crap right? It’s almost as if some adults on here are more bothered about posts they put on an anonymous forum 2 years ago being proved right than players for their club doing well.

There’s no doubt that he should’ve scored that goal,and for me the reason he missed it was that he wasn’t confident enough on his left foot, the time he took letting the ball cross his body onto his right was the time the goalie needed to close down the space, some left footed slotting practice needed me thinks.

Oh, I agree he should have scored it. But the abuse he has then got. All.strikers miss chances. We won the game and he is still one of the top scorers in the league. Still areas he needs to work on, but there are some posters with a vendetta.
