I dont think i said that. I said it was partly his fault today but didn't mention the other games.

This is a rare game this season where we actually created ample opportunities for him but he wasnt able to make the most of them.

On the whole hes been exceptional this year but he wasn't anywhere near his best today.

Still scored we were that poor if we had equalised I feel Burnley would have added a third the team were that poor ......in midfield & on Holgates side - TBH blaming DCL is ridiculous........ 16 prem goals & fans are like Oliver they want more ........in a very poor team performance..... we are missing vital players in midfield & its showing......

Am I missing something? Only 3 players have scored more in the league and that’s only probably from their pens (Fernandes, Kane and Salah). Couple of poor performances and we should replace him with ‘Patrick Bamford’? Remember how well that turned out when we sold our last really good striker

He was really poor mostly today, and he does have his obvious flaws, but he’s been 95% brilliant this season, he’s normally brilliant at holding the ball up, especially with how deep we normally are. I’d still rather have him than every other striker in the league apart from Kane who is head and shoulders above any striker in the league.

Maybe not but is Richarlison? Is Allan the midfielder or James the creator? The promised land is a million miles away and I doubt most of our players will be here when/if we ever make it. DCL does have the potential to keep improving though so I have more faith in him to take us there than the others mentioned.

Name a striker who would want to come and who is better? He’s the least of our worries on the basis of our midfield and right hand side

I’ve said in previous posts that he isn’t the answer. Scoring tap ins every week doesn’t make you a great. I find him lazy and frustrating. He never gives the work load Richie does.

Took his goal well but had about 6 decent opportunities where he was unable to even generate as attempt on target. We always talk about his lack of service but he needed to be much better with the opportunities that he got today !

Well who? Last two strikers we gave high wages were Sandro and Tosun to replace Lukaku. He’s obviously nowhere near Kane or Lukaku level but literally they are top 5 in Europe. For a start City, Liverpool and United will all be going for a striker this summer so not sure who we could realistically get whose better than DCL? Look at the amount spent on Haller, Joelinton, Brewster, Watkins, Rodrigo in past 2 years

Yes you may have but when he was scoring for fun for us stopped posting on this thread 16 outfield goals in the Prem not bad for a championship striker as he was labeled pre season - not - Just crawled out of the woodwork l on this thread tonight even when he scores ,..
It was a very poor team performance -end of ......hard to select a MOTM for us tbh.,,
I guess if he scored a hattrick and we got beat 4-3 you would still blame him ......

i don't think its a joke, it';s just the stupidity of someone that just hasn't got a clue about the game. as if scoring tap ins isn't a skill. if it was so easy then every single player in history would score 15 goals min every season.
