I know its funny isn't it, having to defend a player that's been brilliant (by any metric) to 'fans' of his club. Not that your brilliantly (S...A..R..C..A..S..M) researched and valued 'opinion' means anything.

What am I doin even giving the likes you the time of day? "don't argue with idiots they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

ignore
The boy has rubber shins.. he’ll score plenty of tap ins over his career for sure but he’ll never be a game changing striker ... that’s not a bad thing in some respects as there are only a handful of game changing strikers ever around in their era

Look the fashioning chances for himself thing is something he is aware of and working on, he has said so in an interview. At the end of the day we have tasked him with putting the ball ion the back of the net.

We geared up to do that through getting crosses in and getting the ball across the 6 yard box; He still has to have the intelligence and movement to lose his man to get on the end of it. His problem at the moment is his fellow team mates just not advancing the ball into positions he can do damage.

Tired of people acting like poaching isn't a skill and a very hard one, some of the best strikers ever were poachers, i don't remember Lineker getting stick for not scoring screamers. DCLs numbers are fine and people are on his back because he isn't a complete player, it's not on considering the improvement.

I do not care how he scores as long as he does and we win games.

Our leading goalscorer.......

Great interview this. Cracking lad, Dom, and with the attitude he has, I think we'll see further improvements in his game. He's come a long way since he joined, and he's got what it takes to improve further. Thanks for sharing, mate. I wasn't aware of this podcast, and the female interviewer's quality makes up for the forced 'laddishness' of the bloke. I'm impressed with a lot of what I've seen of our squad recently; I think we have some great people, as well as players, within the squad.
