Was listening to a podcast last night with Ben Winstanly and they were talking about Tottenham or Man U coming in for him this summer. Have to say I'm not worried at all. He is our first choice is still developing can't see them bidding enough either. He would be a bench option for most of these teams. Now if Man City came in I would be more worried.
Don't forget spurs are a super club. With no League titles in 60 years and less than Huddersfield and Newcastle. Hahahaha

Wouldn't argue against that point but fact remains that Dom is not top 4 clinical, especially in one on one situation where he has to think
There isnt any ‘top 4’ strikers really in the league other than Kane who is streets ahead of anyone imo. City are top by miles and have hardly played with one, United change theirs every week and Chelsea have Werner. Quality of top top strikers seems generally a lot lower than at any given point imo (not a slant on Dom).
Loads at a similar level (Lacazette, Watkins, Ings, DCL, Bamford etc). Always maintained I’d rather have DCL ahead of them and the best of the rest, but needs to start doing it more. Would have done him and Richarlison the world of good to have some cover and opportunity to rest/rotate this season

Yep if we put DCL on pens like most of the guys ahead of him in goals then he'd be a lot closer to the top still

This tells you how good his early run was.

At the same time, if he's going to go the full Lukaku and score in bunches, then fail to net for weeks on end, we need another striker. Said striker either needs to push him for minutes or needs to play as a strike partner that he meshes with better than he does with Richarlison.
