Started the game really well, got his goal and had Mings and Konsa all over the place. Then he completely went missing and ran about with a pair of Wagon Wheels on his feet.

Watkins has shown tonight what good strikers do, apart from his header which we know he's brilliant at, he's been awful again, just doesn't move

Then why did we not sign him?
Our midfield tonight was crap - they mixed it with good balls over the top to Watkins ......

Thought he was alright tonight... but his performance paled in comparison to Watkins at the other end. Thought he was great.

Oh joey bore odd lad ffs, it is possible to say DCL had a bad game without you having to blame every other person on the whole squad.

The lad doesn't do enough, it's that simple it you watch the two strikers today it was chalk and cheese ffs, apart from his goal ( again we know he's quality in the air ) he done abolshtley nothing, Watkins was unreal he was everywhere, he turned bad balls into boss balls because he's non stop running.

Pretty sure Holgate and Godfrey played a part in making Watkins a "good" striker today.

Great when the ball is abar 6 yards out, the rest has me concerned.

Either way, 20 goals is a good return. Wouldn't be as much pressure on him if others in the team chipped in with a few more goals.

They both scored one each ..,.....he got service, DCL again fed on scraps.......we had another striker on the pitch too you know that don't you .......
