I'd still put that on our centre backs not being able to cope with him than him being clever. The lads got pace and floated between the two, and they had no clue what to do with him.

Additionally, we rarely play long balls for Dom to run on to. No one has that range of passing apart from James. But when James plays, hes put Dom in plenty (Palace recently) it's usually the finish that's lacking.

Dom's been a main focal point this season. That first half of the season he was almost a complete striker...hold up, channels, goals. Carlo has said they've changed the game up to bring Richy in more (who himself has been very poor) which is probably seeing him working harder around the box.

No, just another drab slow defence & midfield performance.... Carlo - I don't know what happened - I do A RECURRING THEME we had no pace at the back or in midfield - SLOW LEGS ALL OVER THE PARK - at least DCL scored ....

You make your own way and he isn't good enough at doing that. If he relies on balls into the box to score then he's a Championship striker at best.

What service we were over run in midfield slow at the back .....he is closing in on 20 goals this season mate....
 

DCL does 1 thing very well. In those tight little spots right in front of goal he is dangerous. He just needs to get better at the rest of the stuff that makes a striker great

You know, pre-Carlo he probably would have played more like Watkins, who properly stretched our defence by running the channels.

Richy was dreadful. All of them were tbf.

He's by no means the finished article, but his league goals return is higher than since 1993/4- just imagine if we had legs in midfield plus two decent wingers.....

They was, not disputing that.

But this whole he got a goal so did he job nonsense is crazy, he needs to improve ( like they all do ) and all I'm saying is watching Watkins today makes you realise even more what we have been missing for years
