Joey, Watkins running behind our defence made Villas long balls look sublime. He worked hard but more importantly he worked cleverly. DCL very rarely escaped Villas CBs......it has to be worked on

Every time I have seen Watkins he works his bollocks off even when he hasn't been scoring he make things happen fot the team.
DCL if he doesn't score he contributes nothing .I get the impression that he thinks he is the finished article where as Watkins still wants to learn.
I would listen to offers for both him and Ricardlson.

Oh come on. DCL got service, he did nothing with it. He also runs down blind alleyways. How many times are we going to say "he didn't get service" when he doesn't do well? Ridiculous. You make your own way and he isn't good enough at doing that. If he relies on balls into the box to score then he's a Championship striker at best.

No, he drops deep, misplaces a pass and then runs forward when the whole chain of play starts again because of his poor pass. Look at Watkins passing when he drops deep. One of those saves from Pickford was due to Watkins spraying the ball out wide to Cash who played it back for Watkins. Dom has never done that and never will.
