Remember Pipo Inzaghi?
yes this is a very good comparison. Inzaghi scores lots of ugly goals in the right place at the right time and very physical as well. typical target man, but inzaghi is a lot more cleaver at breaking offside trap.

Remember Pipo Inzaghi?
Never liked him till I found out one information. Pipo was very underrated by casual fans. He was hard worker, but, best of all, he spent hours before every game, looking on videos how opposite team defence play, reactions of goalkeeper, etc. So, first I thought that many goals by him come because iz was pure coincidence, but it was all opposite.Yes exactly! I actually think Dom can be a better player than Inzaghi because he’s very good at holding the ball up and linking but if he can score close to the amount Inzaghi got then we’re laughing!
Two seasons worth of inconsistency. Tends to go missing during a big game too.
It's impossible to reply to crap like this properly with the swear filter in place. Two seasons worth of inconsistency. Tends to go missing during a big game too.
@COYBL25 lol just joking Dave DCL has sent you dizzy -Wrong. The past is a guode and the present is ephemeral.
He needs to continually impress. That's what a professional does: in football he puts it in - and to a to a high quality - EVERY game.
Going back many years (attention, attention, arl git alert), that was the philosophy of Bobby Charlton, and all opposition fans loathed him because he could blast them with either foot. Not a bad role model.I remember reading an article by Shearer in his prime. And he said always get your shot away first time and hit the target. He said it’s gives less time for a keeper to set himself and also less chance of a defender getting a block in, hitting it first time. And he should know the number of goals he scored.

Hence the words 'tends'.Like Spurs away you mean? Ok.
Hence the words 'tends'.
Under what circumstance will you admit he's developed into a quality striker for us?
Ffs, a 23 year old we signed for nowt just scored a hat trick for us and some of you are still moaning.
He's showing promise.I just had to look up Ephemeral and also "guode", which I thought was a word but I assume is a typo, because I'm illiterate.
You've got to admit he's improved exponentially though mate.
He won't be as effective every game but I think his work can always be appreciated in terms of link up and work rate.
Exactly. If James, Allan and Richarlison are painting a masterpiece, you don't want Calorie-Loser and his eyebrows smudging it, you just want him to put the frame around the picture at the end
It's what many of us have said for years but we've been fingered and persecuted for it by the same people who have QUITE the Keane / Funes Mori back catalogue, let me tell you.
Yes, and over the course of his time here he tends not to in those games. So this season he has scored a brilliant winner in a big game, no?
If we are painting a masterpiece the finishing touches are just as important as the first brush strokes...
Not looking for a confession lid, let's just enjoy the blues and the players having good games ey?:He's showing promise.
But why should I 'admit' anything? Ive seen some class Everton forwards over the years, and he isn't one of them.
Let's just see how he progresses before hauling others over the coals looking for a confession.
