He's doing all he needs to do. We have quality in the team to create multiple chances for a poaching striker who stays central. All he mainly has to do is be there. He should net with regularity and freedom.

So should Kean if he gets a chance to play with James and Richy around him.

I can see that "he who is and should be ignored" is riling a few of you up. Dunno what hes saying but whatever it is, ignore the blert!

DCL has been serviced with scraps for 2-3 seasons and still managed a decent return of goals.

Now hes getting some service, doesn't need to be deeper to help out a crap midfield, and is allowed to focus on just being a predator in the mould of a Lineker, Shearer, Yak, Inzaghi, and all those other highly praised STRIKERS over the years. Paying off in spades already!

Hahaha, I'm just happy to see him add goals to his other attributes. A target man is a rare occurrence in today's game but add to that the mobility of todays strikers and I think there is something to build on there. There's a lot to like about Dom's game, even when he isn't scoring hat tricks.

Oh he isnt that level, probs never will be. But he is deffo improving, is full of confidence, looks strong and must me a nightmare for defenders, (see Spurs), and Carlo Ancelotti aint in the market for a replacement.

Stay fit, one of the highest scorers in the league this season. See you in (christ, when does the season end?) but then.

If DCL’s only strengths are positioning, work rate, and headers, I’d take that all day long. Good set of tools in a team with actual playmakers.

Funnily enough a kopite said exactly the same thing to me after the match. He compliments the likes of James so well.
