Stop trying to act a super blue.

Not many people are calling him crap, calling him average.

And I'll say again, just because we probably can't sign anyone better at the moment that does NOT mean DCL is better than average. He's far to inconsistent to be anything better than average/slightly above average.
Not sure if you have noticed but as a club we are inconsistent and average. Not of our players great. He is Our best player and biggest asset is dcl. He is also irreplaceable for where we are as a club. No one is saying he is ronaldo… you need some perspective.
Posing the question of who we could replace him should be the first thing fans consider when slating players. Not one one of the wums have suggested a better player at an affordable price.

He's not our best player though, he's not even close to being our best player.

Biggest asset? Maybe, id still say if Richy plays anywhere near he did in his first 2 seasons he's worth double what DCL is.

Irraplacable? Based on what? He's been here 4 years now is it? And within that four years he's played good for about 6-9 months init.

Who would you replace him with?

Needs reading in a Lancashire accent

The Lion and Albert

...The manager 'ad to be sent for;
'E came and 'e said "Wot's to-do?"
Ma said "Yon lion's et Albert
And 'im in 'is Sunday clothes, too!"

Father said "Right's right, young feller-
I think it's a shame and a sin
To 'ave our son et by a lion
And after we paid to come in."

The manager wanted no trouble;
He took out his purse right away
Sayin' "'Ow much to settle the matter?"
Pa said "wot do you usually pay?"

And here's the key to the matter...
Everybody's for sale, everybody has a price - how much has anybody offered...has anybody actually come in and declared an interest.
Nah, worry when it happens
If it does.
(But £60M will get you in the door)...everybody has a price

Edit; I've just done 1.5 series of Sunderland til I die... and I keep getting deja vu

Considering how woeful our recruiting is, why on Earth would you want to sell him!? It would be the equivalent of a gambling addict financing his house in the hope of winning it all back.
Yeah. Unless Simms really is the second coming of Christ, I don’t think we can afford to sell our only solid option at striker. We’d have to get Buku money and even then we’d have to spend it wisely and not on Iwobi.

What a stupid kin question. You're not going to start but can you adjust to play with H Kane? DCL said- ' are you picking the team?' :dance: :dance:
