But he is committed, he scores decent amount of goals and if we were to sell him he would only go to a more successful club.
Signings Edourard would be riskier, similar age - another 1 in to striker, but definitely playing down in class in each week.
Bellotti is older than DCL, less than a 1 in 2 striker
Neither of these strikers are likely match DCL

Unfortunately, if Leicester are offering the same package as us most players are going there these days. Have Trophies, European football and Wembley finals to show in very recent past.

I guessing that if DCL was playing for Newcastle and scoring what he is, and Everton were in for him, most fans would be creaming at the prospect.

Most rational people aren't saying he's Pele mate but some are going overboard on how good he actually is.

Problem is with DCL is he's not done it consistently, like you've just said edourd is a one in two and bellotti is a slightly less than one in two... But they've done that over 3-4 seasons. DCL has done it for one.

Said a dozen times, if DCL goes and gets another 20 goals this season I'll happily be proved wrong because I see him as a purple patch striker and not a a consistent goal scoring forward.
