What's that lads
He's not. Southgate views Rashford as the backup striker and Kane scoring ensures he's got enough rope to keep playing 90 minutes for as long as England are in it.Thankfully Grealish put it on an absolute plate for Kane who has continued to stink out the gaff.
Was funny seeing a shed load of crosses into the box and no one getting on the end of them.
Really hope he gets his chance in this tournament as I truly think he'll take it.
Southgate wasn't thrilled to see him.Was good to see him on the pitch, at the end, I'd of gone home

Pretty disgraceful snub tbh.
Maybe, looks to me like he definitely looks at him.i think people are looking into this far too much, if you look at the video that not just zoomed into gareth southgate you can see DCL is having a conversation with mings and southgate doesn't actually look straight at him as it seems in the close up version. things like this are the reason we can be one of the worst fanbases at times, we jump on the smallest things and make them something they're not.
We are definitely not one of the worst fan bases for this kind of thing normally but I could understand why people are feeling like everything is against Everton right now with Benitez approaching. This looks to be from an England account posting it though so it’s not just Evertonian conspiracy theorising.i think people are looking into this far too much, if you look at the video that not just zoomed into gareth southgate you can see DCL is having a conversation with mings and southgate doesn't actually look straight at him as it seems in the close up version. things like this are the reason we can be one of the worst fanbases at times, we jump on the smallest things and make them something they're not.

Funny thing is, despite the goals Sterling and Kane have been poor all round. If it weren't for Grealish they'd have zero service. The goals have kept them on the team sheet.
But Kane was absolutely on his arse by 60-70mins. He couldn't travel with the ball or run.
The kicker is just the options. Paid off so far as a gamble but there's gonna be a time and place for different strikers in games.
