Saka played better than Sterling in that he actually pulled off being direct. Sterling can't beat a man, runs into them, or loses the ball. People dismiss that shocking pass back last night where Muller should've scored. Summed up his game so far. But he pops up with a goal so his all round game is forgetton about.
Like I say though, Southgate has gambled and it's paid off. It's just when it doesn't, it's what he does to change it.
