Benitez has arrived at Everton as probably the most unpopular choice ever.
I don't see him compounding that unhappiness by selling the one player who impressed everybody so much last season.

I think this one could be left in the bin unless there is an offer of 120 to 130 million then you would have to look at it.

If we are foolish enough to sell DCL we will merely be shooting ourselves in the foot.
No quality CF is going to come to a mid table club, no matter how much money you offer , they will want cash and trophies.

Good point this, no way this summer do we sell any fan favourites, Richy, DCL...etc all staying, unless they make a noise to leave

I've said this many times on this thread, but selling DCL would be the equivalent of a gambling addict financing his house with the hopes of winning all his debt back, considering how woeful our recruitment is.

Dead right. The people quoting this figure are seriously deluded. Imagine DCL was playing for Brighton and his season record was exactly the same. If Everton were in for him, how much would you pay? I’d be disappointed if the club paid more than £15/20m.
