Dead right. The people quoting this figure are seriously deluded. Imagine DCL was playing for Brighton and his season record was exactly the same. If Everton were in for him, how much would you pay? I’d be disappointed if the club paid more than £15/20m.

Championship players cost more than that. For example, Sheffield Utd spent more than that on Oli McBurnie.

This is a 20 goal top flight striker.

Would take a very big offer to even consider letting him go. Probably our most valuable player as of right now.

But like with every other player, if the right offer comes in and he wants to go, then I would let him go. No point keeping people who want to leave.

But I don't see it happenning this summer. Firstly, I have no evidence he actively wants to leave. Also, the "right" offer for us would probably be in excess of £75m-£80m this summer, pushing towards £100m, and that isn't what another club would value him at.

exactly. The teams he's linked too are supposedly looking at him as a back up option to the likes of Lukaku and Haaland should they not get their preferred option. Now, I imagine we'd be demanding money not too far off what those two will command and i just can't see anyone paying that for a player i believe will keep getting better but isn't near the level of someone like Kane or Rom yet.

….the likes of United can’t be interested in DCL, a couple of posters talk with authority on here that no top clubs would ever be interested in him.

it’s got to be a jarg rumour.

100 million then it's too good an offer to refuse. Otherwise no point as you'd be trying to spend just as much on a replacement as you are selling for. All he needs to do is practice finishing from anywhere in the box - especially the 1 on 1 situations where you back him to miss more than score THEN we'll have a real player on our hands.
