He's getting a lot more of them because our midfield is now boss. Drop him into a lesser team, and his output will look like last year's. That renders him a legit Prem striker, but not world class.
He took his goal brilliantly but for 70 minutes it was probably his poorest performance of the season. He got bullied and could hardly hold the ball up.
But then in the last 20 he really stepped it up in that regard and started to get their defence turning, and won some pressure-relieving fouls late on.

He isn't perfect by any means. But frankly, the perfect striker is unavailable to us. This lad is listening to Carlo, occupying all the right spaces and trying to do all the right things. Why people are nitpicking just to try and legitimatise a previous assertion they made about him, I don't know
Don’t think it was a criticism, and to be fair Dom is playing a role where he doesn’t wander at all at the moment, which is obviously what Carlo wants. We know he can run the channels, but if he does it means he’s not in the box.

Tbf, I think he is correct but he has completely missed the point. Ancelotti has told him to stop running around like a headless chicken and stay in the box. He is doing that and it is working wonders.

Took his goal well but aside from that he had a poor game. Got out muscled and lost majority of challenges, albeit the service wasn't great especially in the 2nd half. Also should have at least worked the goalie with 1 of them headers.
.? Did you not watch his back to goal play in the 2nd half ? He and Rhico led the line well today ......
