No idea why u are picking an argument here. I dont care how he scores. Like I said a lucky one is as good as a good striker.

I think he's pretty pony really but if he scores then so what?

I'd like to point out the that the neg rep on this post isn't from me. I tend to be able to spell my own handle, for a start.

I think some people are mischief making.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has really responded well to what Ancelotti said to him. It's brilliant that he now appears to be reaping the rewards of all the hard work he's put into his game on the pitch since we signed him, and I was made up for the guy to see him continuing his scoring in the Crystal Palace game today.

England didn't exactly set the world alight goals wise in their last couple of games so it will be interesting to see if Southgate will take a punt on DCL sometime in the future.

Because I fear the luck will run out. It was a poor finish today really. Straight at the keeper. Kane would have blasted the net off.

I understand your point and there were several goals last year that you could point to as “luck that will run out”.

But I think his 5 goals this year have all been well taken goals from solid team buildup... I could be convinced either way on whether today’s finish was “poor” but I think he got in a good position and getting it a powerful shot on target from that close is likely to result in a goal unless you hit the goalie straight on... even though the goalie got a touch on it, it wasn’t saveable.

Worked hard and did the dirty work. Could have scored more, but his finish was obviously good enough as it went in.

Excited about him, really been great to see him improving. Hopefully he keeps it up for the rest of the season.

Looks world class at the moment. Not just the goals but the all round contribution. If there is a better number 9 in the league, I certainly haven't seen him.
A bold statement indeed.

I think he's thriving in a system that doesn't ask him to do more than he's capable of in terms of buildup play, but obviously we all see the game differently.

I definitely think he deserves some recognition from England now, though.
