Could also have been down to the two CB tiring, Dom has excellent stamina but might have been having difficulty finding space against two well drilled defenders as agree he was pretty anonymous for 30 mins of second half.
Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders though so am sure if he didn’t meet Carlo’s instructions/expectations he’ll work on it.

He's currently the leading goal scorer in the league. He's putting himself in places where he'll get those scruffy goals much better than he has done in the past. Why is it important how he gets the ball in the net? Loads of top strikers bagged loads of scruffy goals in the six yard box. I remember RVN (who I'm not comparing to DCL) getting pelters from the RS for years for only scoring in the 6 yard box. Still bagged 150 goals for them.
