This was against Crystal Palace......... Harry Kane against Man City had 37 touches. Two strikers - one playing an elite team and one playing a poor team - the one playing the poor team broke a record for the least touches ever over 90 minutes in the prem.

I admire you trying to defend him but really it was a waste of time.

I didn't watch the game personally so I'll put to you , how many of the 518 passes Chelsea made were to Lukaku?

If you believe Lukaku should be spending his time tackling and winning the ball up the pitch then you have him confused for a midfielder.

Funny you should mention how many touches were made by Kane , given 3 of those touches were his team mates creating a chance for him to score. I was under the impression that the midfield play to the striker, so if they don't play to the striker , striker can't touch the ball.

Just a very odd thing to attack Lukaku for. When people pass him the ball, whether it's Everton, inter, united , Belgium etc, he scores goals. When you don't pass him the ball , the reaction is to criticise him for it?

Lukaku is going to be one of those players that will retire with a fantastic goal haul and for some reason only the English will not rate him.

His world-class skills are like the Lost Boys' feast in Hook. You've got to believe, but the English just don't want it enough.

Was in the top 5 highest goalscorers in European football under 24 years old last season. English on a long contract.

Based on that alone the starting point is £60mill in the current market. Argue about talent later when that goes up

I know, everyone bangs on about how many touches in a game Ronaldo has. All they ever talk about with him, how many times he touches a ball on the pitch.....

Strikers sole job is to score goals. Centre forwards not so much but strikers are only on the pitch to score goals. Lukaku is very good at scoring goals , until he is wearing a shirt that are aiming for the top 4 in England. Then he gets ripped apart for any little thing he does.

Ironically when he wore an Everton shirt , it was his own fans not rating him. Despite the , you know , goals he was scoring.

Vlahovic has just went to juventus for less than that. He's younger, scored a lot more goals in the last 2 seasons. So that alone means your chatting absolute bubbles.

DCL is worth want we value him, and I think we'll value him about what your saying, however I cannot stress that enough NO ONE will be pay 60m for DCL, and if they were stupid enough to do so we should snap their hands off.

How many Premier League goals has Vlahovic scored mert?
 
I am a great believer in Strikers scoring a sitter, off their back side, fluke can make a big difference. Hopefully the that will come soon and DCL will go on a run. Obviously we have City on Saturday. But the cup match the following Thursday. He should play and hope he will get his goal and then start firing.
