Has been absolutely anonymous since his return. Yes I don't expect to see him banging the goals in, but if he's deemed fit to start the bare minimum he should be doing it sprinting and getting into a physical battle with the opposition. He's done none of that. Has he even had a shot on goal?
His performance yesterday was miles off what we need. Doesn't mean he is unprofessional, but to me there are only two possible explanations for yesterday. Either he is injured and can't perform to the standard we need, or he wasn't putting in a shift. I assume he wasn't injured since he was selected, so I don't think his attitude was good enough.
We can't afford to pick him if he needs time to get back to fitness. We need points right now so that might mean he sits on the bench.

We have a centre forward who has 5 goals in his last 3 starts. He doesn’t look good doing it, but maybe it’s time to go where the goals are.

Time to get rid. Never the standard needed. Fooled a lot of people into thinking he was a premier league forward last season with his little flurry. Not good enough to even push this team back to midtable.

Imo his heading ability is his best quality, everything else lacks conviction or quality. He lacks awareness, his shooting at times is like a weird hybrid of scuffing and moonwalking, his hold up play is abysmal and his decision making is lacking .
The poster saying Carlo knew his limitations so basically stuck him in the six yard box was right and even then some of those finishes lacked conviction. Still ,he did score them.
I’m starting to think he believes his own hype or the ones who sycophant him who can’t wait to jump on people who don’t think he’s brilliant for doing what they want to see more from him in the first place.
He may do brilliantly at Arsenal , as it stands I wouldn’t be remotely bothered if he left .
