He needs to lead the line on Thursday. I get he’s contributed nothing since the start of the season but he’s the only one who can hold the ball up effectively and lead the line.
Richarlison can’t play as our 9. He tries hard, but how many times did he run offside today? He’s better playing from the left where he can run at a full back. Then Gray playing from the right. Gordon off the bench when defences are tiring.

You’d have a better point if he was fit but he’s been off the pace ever since he came back and won’t even close down at full throttle let alone try to reach top speed when on the last defender. His hold up play has also been non existent. Everton have enough players not able to play at their best because of lack of match fitness/ dreadful form etc so what they cant afford is another player not giving their all for the cause.
