Ah well, I said yesterday, its hard to defend the lad at the moment.

But maybe we could try and back him, most of the anger is due to people making up stories about him wanting a move.

And yes, his performances have been, questionable.

But im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, cos we REALLY need him to get back into form.

If he doesnt and keeps stinking and then leaves to go to Arsenal in May, so be it, but I refuse to believe Rondon is a better option
It is definitely knee jerk after he had that injury and all that to cast him off, but I hope to god it doesn’t carry into next season and Deja Vu Another disgruntled player. Still have ptsd from Captain Morgan

OK stick with a garbage DCL and when he doesn't score then just convince yourself that he is still regaining fitness while we continue to struggle. The lad is a waste at the moment
He's been "regaining fitness" for how many months now?! Either we really do have the worst medical department in the game, or someone needs to ask Eriksen's people how has he managed to come back from the dead and return to top Prem form in less time than it's taken DCL to recover from a leg injury.

Any stats from the man United match? Curious if it shows his effort/involvement being as bad as we all think

According to SofaScore, the Toffees striker – who was previously dubbed “wasteful” by Greg O’Keeffe – had fewer touches than Jordan Pickford, completed just nine passes and had no shots on or off target. He also lost the ball 14 times with his 26 touches before he was sent to the bench by his manager in the 71st minute to be replaced by Demarai Gray.

That doesn’t seem good

Yet guaranteed to start the next match. And the one after that. And the one after that. #FranksFavourites

I'd argue that the following may be better than DCL
Kane
Son
Mane
Saleh
Jota
Dias
Sterling
Jesus
Richarlison
Lacazette
Jimenez
Lukaku
Werner
Mateta
Pukki
Wilson
Watkins
Ings
Antonio
Bowen
Dennis
Borja
Bamford
Toney
Mbueno
Ronaldo
Cavani

Huge number of those are wide players.

Last season (which Is the reference of my post) he certainly wasnt worse than 90% of those names.

I don’t like his form this season, but I’m also not buying that he is useless. I saw enough of him last season to know that is not true.

He has had an injury and a loss of form. He is also not getting much service and the team as a whole has not been creating many chances.

Stick with him. A couple of good games where he scores a brace is worth persisting with, seeing as there are no goals sitting on the bench to replace him.
Just needs a simple tap in to kickstart it all.

Seriously who's buying DCL?

Clubs that could possibly afford him in PL

Spurs even if they get rid of Kane? No, not with Conte as manager
Utd? No
Arsenal? I don't see it they play football on the deck not in the air
City? hahahahahahahahaha
Liverpool? Pfft
Villa? Sideward step, would he be an upgrade on Olly Watkins? No
Newcastle? Possibly, I would make them favourites for his next destination as he wants to be part of the 'project' ahem (huge contract)

Clubs outside of the PL?

Is it more knee jerk so say he's gonna fetch a massive fee, or that he's a top striker, based off one good season? I think, like everything on this site, that the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Closet is rammed in this thread
The irony coming from a man who spends his spare time “creative writing” on his blog that nobody reads…

That’s your only comeback to anybody who criticises Calvert Lewin. It wasn’t funny the first time and it’s not funny now after you’ve repeated it dozens of times.

Do you dress up in your mums gear like an absolute melt as well?
