This thread is turning in to a bit of a hate fest.
I think a lot of people are letting his off field antics and our relegation threatened situation cloud their judgment a bit. It’s always been a running ‘joke’ that DCL wasn’t very good and has just had good spells.
He scored:
2019/2020:- 13 goals in 36 games
2020/2021:- 16 goals in 33 games
Hardly prolific, but roughly 1 goal every 2.5 games over nearly 70 games is very good for a player of that age, and much more than just a purple patch as many seem to think. He hasn’t been at it this season but that’s largely been due to injury. Speculation is that he has a bad injury and it’s preventing him from giving it his all.
I mean there could be a big conspiracy. He could be protecting himself and maybe even driving his own price down?

Honestly based on his injury situation and probable desire to leave I would sell him.
Whenever we decide to players that want to leave it ends badly for us.
I reckon Red Bull will hire us on this level of strategy. Can I politely ask your level of contempt for the Transfer gossipers on here?
Its pretty simple really.
If he is committed and wants to stay and we can afford for him to stay, then great.
If he wants to leave then sell as quickly as possible for as much as possible
