I dont see him joining West Ham or Newcastle at all.
Pre injury I think he would be perfectly suited for west ham's style of play whether they would spunk over 50 million on him is a different story. They did throw out a lot of funds on your boy Hallier. Newcastle have the loot but still not the clout to pull the top tier strikers so I think he could be a possibility for them.

….understand World Cup is on the horizon, he needs to finish this season strongly for his own good but more importantly ours. He owes us, he’s due a run. He has what it takes to make a difference in these final crucial games, he needs to deliver.

I have to admit i have my doubts as to wether he has what it takes. He had a good 6 months under ancelotti and did well out of lucas digne deliveries. Take away those two factors as they are no longer at the club and was he really showing other things that much?

I hope he proves me wrong and i dont like doubting but i cant get it out of my head he's had a really good 6 months in his career and is living off it.

…4 goals in 11 games for England with no Digne or Ancelotti.

i do think the Digne point is valid, though. All strikers rely on right service in the right area of the pitch. Digne provided ammunition, the decision to sell him was incompetent.

Without checking those england goals were they against albania or anything like? As england stats can often be misleading when you are camped in a minnows half.
My point is its not like he was running teams ragged when doing well. He became a weapon in the box under the managership of carlo ancelotti.

I hope he proves himself tomorrow and the rest of the season as we simply cant carry him.

No but he does have Harry Kane and Foden and Mount and Sterling and Trippier/Arnold/James etc
