Seriously though hes probably overplayed his hand. The fashion and twerking for Arsenal. He now has no quads and 1 goal from open play all season. No big team will touch him and he's burned his good will with us. Baffling scenario really. It depends what DCL we're getting. If its last year's version we are miles better with him. If its this year's version, its debatable.

Let's not kid ourselves, he's been extremely poor since he came back in January and the intensity to his play has disappeared.

He might well end up staying next season as I can't see anyone offering a decent fee given his form/fitness this year. It would be a huge gamble to shell out £40m+ on someone in his current situation.

The comparison might be nonsense, but his commitment this year hasn't been what we saw in previous years. He could do far far better and only he knows why he has struggled so much.

Minor injuries shouldn't be a consideration at this point of the season. Everyone should be available unless they have a serious issue and knocks are part of football.

I would doubt there is anything in it because his performances have been so poor. But I have no idea if he fancies a move there. It wouldn't surprise if he does want out though because he has played like someone who has mentally already chosen their next team.
