Bad luck is part of it for sure. There's also been a lack of commitment in the squad. All these minor injuries and knocks are extremely frustrating. Everyone should be desperate to play.

I wouldn't have started him. Not having him available in the squad defintely weakens us though. The bench option is Rondon or Dobbin and thats not good enough for this level.

The only reason it’s annoying me is Richarlison will probably play as a striker and he’s far better and more effective out wide

Not sure I’m buying another minor injury. Given he’s been poor, and Frank was sounding pretty lukewarm about him in his presser wouldn’t surprise me if he’s been dropped.

Seriously though hes probably overplayed his hand. The fashion and twerking for Arsenal. He now has no quads and 1 goal from open play all season. No big team will touch him and he's burned his good will with us. Baffling scenario really. i do think the Digne point is valid, though. All strikers rely on right service in the right area of the pitch. Digne provided ammunition, the decision to sell him was incompetent.
