I’ve seen all the evidence I need on the pitch Tbh . He’s been nothing short of a waste of space . The rumours probably are just that . But his body language when he has played has been terrible

I would agree, but I don't think we have much chance if he doesn't play. Richarlison isn't a natural striker, and Rondon isn't good enough.

at the same time we can’t afford to carry a passenger . If he’s up for it then great . If not what’s the point ? we are running out of games

The kid was injured at the time and was asked to represent our club on Sky. How do you know what his suit cost?

Because even the other people in the Sky studio made a big deal out of his suit.. and it was well publicised afterwards how much it cost.

Unless he shifts his attitude a full 180 why would we want him on the pitch? he has shown nothing since his return, then return, then return again that shows he is in anyway committed to us or helping us out of the mess we are in. he has been dire and he looks like he is already not here anyway, for the next 6 matches i want players who will die for this club nothing less.

This season he has played his way out of a big money transfer. Another 20 goals this season and he would have attracted all the leading clubs in Europe.
Fact is he is too risky for that now. Look at the rs front three - they barely miss a game and can challenge on all fronts. Dcl is too risky to sign now - no successful club pays big money for players not able to play a season.
It maybe that he joins a project at Newcastle… he offers the big No.9 status they like, a big chunk of money to us and him and their medium term prospects look better than ours.

We have missed him. Big time. He is usually guaranteed to get around 20 league goals a season and his hold up play is usually excellent.

We have missed the DCL who started last season under Ancelotti, by some distance his most productive season and he scored 16 league goals, the majority of which were before Christmas!
But it’s a bit of a leap to say “he’s usually guaranteed to get around 20 goals a season” is it not?

Tbf he has never scored 20 league goals in a season in his entire career. The worry is that last season was a purple patch

Yes I’m well aware of that but the poster said Calvert Lewin is guaranteed to score 20 league goals a season. Which he is not.
