I would agree, but I don't think we have much chance if he doesn't play. Richarlison isn't a natural striker, and Rondon isn't good enough.
Agree there. Richarlison needs to play wide left to be more effective and even though Rondon has looked ok i cant see him running around and chasing the Chelsea defenders for 90 minutes. Hope DCL can be arsed to be fit again

According to Football365, he's told his friends that he wants to leave Everton and join Arsenal.
Yeah mate Football365 don't know anything

Look, I'm sure he's as good as gone whether we stay or go. Doesn't change he's had horrendous luck with injury this season.

I cannot believe how Everton didn't learn their lesson from the Gbamin fiasco. Doing your quad is like doing your hamstring - you need surgery.

EDIT: Also doesn't excuse him being crap when he came back. There's explanations but not excuses.

1 open play goal lol lol lol

So, here's his 'big chances' for the season so far. Unfortunately I can't differentiate the big chances between pens and not pens however, since he's scored three of them, and his open play goal was from 2 yards out, then we can safely know that the other two big chances he's scored are the two pens.

So he's missed three other big chances. One of those will be the penalty v Brighton, the other two are (and I've just checked this to be sure) the 1v1 in the Leeds (A) game and then one v Aston Villa (H) - I assume that's either the header he put over the bar or that one where he just didn't get on the end of Gordon's cross.

Compare that to last season, when he didn't take penalties anyway, so all of the 'big chances' are from open play.

We created 31 big chances and he took 14 of them. That conversion rate might seem low to you but it's better than Vardy, Salah, Sterling, Mane, Bamford of players to have over 20 big chances last season, and all of those (bar maybe Mane) took penalties, which count towards that total as I explained.

In short, Dom's been crap. But also in short, we've not created anywhere near enough for him compared to last season. But that's what happens when you get a dinosaur manager who insists on playing a style that hasn't worked since 2006 and then proceeds to rip any creativity from the team. And now our creative fulcrum is Alex Iwobi.

What a goal though. Danced past 3 players and drilled it into the top corner from outside the box.

Nah, it was a 2 yard tap in that bobbled in off the keepers arse, like all his are.
I mean Richarlison missed an open goal from six yards out twice the other day mate.

Look at how many goals Sterling scores and tell me where most of them are from.

Never really rated him. That’s not because he’s having a poor season just his goals always seem to have quite a bit of luck about them. When the luck runs out, like now, he offers nothing.
He’s had a bad injury yes. But he’s had 11 games since then and If I’m being honest, I can’t even remember him having a chance or doing anything.

They are from 6 yards out after he’s skinned 2 players and laid the ball off in the build up.

No, they weren't

That first one, he didn't touch the ball in the move until he missed an open goal from six yards out.

The second was from a set-piece.

If you're on about Sterling

then of course, he can score a wider variety of goals, he's a good player. A lot of his goals are tap ins, though, as a lot of City goals are. And they count for exactly the same.
