You can't be serious, of course him being a pro matters...he trains in these scenarios daily... of course he's aware of players around him, his positioning and if any doubt was there he would likely have replayed the scenario in his head before claiming it... Just another dig at him it seems to me... wanting to be the goalscorer(when he was) as our no9 is still not good enough smhHe’s a professional footballer so would be more aware than most is a wild statement.
Even as a professional footballer, you can’t tell who’s behind you or what’s happened in the build up. Anyone watching on TV with any knowledge of the rules would have a better idea.
But yes, it wasn’t even close. I was being paranoid.
Christ almighty, talk about making a mountain out of a molehillAt the time of the goal I would be thinking Yesssssssss we are ahead now lets fight to keep it that why........instead....ref ref it brushed my chest it was my goal.....I want it I want it
Think he carried more of a threat in the first half and looked to have better mobility that recent games. Should have been taken off much earlier. He never came across as lazy previous to his injury. No Calvert-Lewin agenda at all here. I rated him when not many people did, still do. He’s had a poor game today, though, due to injuries I’m sure.

Just proves to me his attitude is me me me rather than us us usChrist almighty, talk about making a mountain out of a molehill
I presume you're on a wind up now? He doesn't need to know where every player on the pitch is, just whether there was a Brentford shirt/player playing him onside. Corner of his eye view would've shown him there were a few playing him on. Training free kicks into the box boosts awareness of player movement around you, of course it does, it's nothing short of daft to think otherwise. Like I said you must be on a wind up, this is ridiculous now.Mate, seriously. You can’t train “scenarios” regarding where Brentford players will be. And if you think you can replay the scenario in your head and know where every player on the pitch is there, you’re wild.
Of course he knows far more about positioning, movement, offsides etc. in the same situation than me, you and 99.9999999999% or whatever of of the world’s population. But he can’t tell for sure whether an armpit or toe is offside.
He’s a striker, all strikers claim goals from even the slightest touch. I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t claiming it, he’ll have been wanting to score for monthsJust proves to me his attitude is me me me rather than us us us
Wait till the match is finished is all I askHe’s a striker, all strikers claim goals from even the slightest touch. I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t claiming it, he’ll have been wanting to score for months
