I mean, he missed so many headers again last night. He jumped about a minute early again. But he was superb at times and that determination from him was a delight to see. That diving header was an absolute delight!Last two games he's been immense for us, winning every header going. He's absolutely good enough to be that driving force to bring us success.
Well said Joey, without your interpreter as well? Then buy overrated European star strikers like e.g. Keane - I feel Rhico will be the one who leaves sadly if we lose both we are in big trouble again next season - we can get enough cash by selling the rest of the deadwood tbh - Jus wages alone will bpoost our ability to spend no need to sell your silverware IMO......
Don't blame anyone if they go, times have changed and there's no loyalty in football anymore, will be saddened but not surprised if both him and Ritchie are away next season.Been a tough year for DCL. Never had injuries like it before, and in a team that doesn’t create chances.
Lots have questioned his work ethic, but he’s not looked fit at times to me.
Last few games I think he’s been excellent, won everything in the air, worked his socks off, and got rewarded last night. Seeing the interviews he’s given, it’s hard to dislike the guy.
If he goes, he goes, but I’d like to see him next season in a team that creates plenty of chances, hopefully that’s with us.
Agree with every word. He’s managed to score ten goals this season in a team with those stats. Playing in a team with a functioning midfield, given some support, that play higher up the pitch and create chances, it’s hardly a stretch to say he’d easily get 15/20 goals a season. Same for Dom if fit.I said Richarlson would score 20+ a season at Madrid or City and was booed off.
Like Danny said we don’t create enough, then get frustrated when they get 1 or 2 chances a game and don’t bury it. No players are getting 100% goal rate with only a couple of chances a game. It’s impossible.
Completely agree. Not sure he'll be here next season, if he is we need full backs who can cross, and centre midfielders who can pass the ball forward.
"Calvert-Lewin alone was presented with 31 big chances last season, when he didn't take penalties. This season he's had 6, 3 from open play, 3 penalties. And, the worst part - Everton's entire squad have only had 28 big chances between them."
We're 19th for chances created, only Norwich worse.
20th for 'big chances missed'
Just dont create anything
Joey, normally I'd feel the same and dread who we're going to lose and which dross we're about to sign. Only thing is I really do trust Lampard to do the right things this summer. If anyone can get Richie to stay he can, and get his own stamp on the team by August kick off time.
Agreed. Wouldn’t blame either of em for going. Sure Richy has had offers before, and think there’ll be offers there for both of em.Don't blame anyone if they go, times have changed and there's no loyalty in football anymore, will be saddened but not surprised if both him and Ritchie are away next season.
He missed one header that way. And he told the team afterwards to play the ball a bit lower.I mean, he missed so many headers again last night. He jumped about a minute early again. Would like to think so mate.Joey, normally I'd feel the same and dread who we're going to lose and which dross we're about to sign. It's just the way he talks mate......Bull sh****rs can't act like that. He's a proven winner and at the start of his new career, it'll mean more to him since any manager we've had for many many years for Everton to do well. I honestly believe he'll become a cult legend here. He loves us too.Would like to think so mate.
In tears my memories of aged 11 years old in 1966 when we looked dead & buried at 2-0 down to come back to a 3-2 win was nail biting - no trophy, but just as important for us -Well said Joey, without your interpreter as well?
How you doing Joey? Did you have a good night, some goal from DCL last night.
