By standing still Dele checks the run of the covering defender just enough to give DCL that extra space. Can see it best on the 1:37 angle. Would never have noticed if I hadn’t watched it 100 times.

That’s a great spot, well in Dele!


After his last two performances it’s so clear that Dom has been injured since the start of the season. He wants to work hard as he has done last two games but has been at 80% fit or something until now under Frank so didn’t fight and sprint the way he has just started to again.

That fully fit DCL is the one that deserves to be our number 9.
