There were those of us who tried to caution that removing #10 and James from a team that was already hardly stocked with creativity and replacing them with Gray and Townsend was insane and we’d struggle to create but plenty folk seemed to think it was a great idea and we’re all in for it.

It’s a miracle Richie scored the goals he did this season, DCL and him feeding off scraps.

Another great point - lost James and #10 who both had quality delivery, then sold Digne. Literally stripped all our set piece takers out the team and replaced them with nobody of even close to similar ability. Also probably our three biggest chance creators from open play. Last summer was yet another disaster, it’s no wonder we ended up where we did.
