Also whether he feels he can continue to progress with us, or would a change of scenery benefit him more and his England chances. Until an offer is made though all just guesswork.

In all honesty being a boyhood fan means feck all these days and it hasn't done for a long time. The only people who think it does are us. The only thing 99.99% of players are interested in is how much money they get paid. Just like the rest of us in our own jobs.

Indeed, be next year he is off if no extension has been signed. All centre forwards are premium currently, Everton would value him high at this point probably out of most transfer pots.
