The reality is that we should have already had a second striker signed up and bedded in before the season started because there is no way is Rondon good enough to be a back up striker even after he serves his ban and it was always going to be risky relying on Dom alone after his previous injury.

It is just Everton in a nutshell once more. Nearly got relegated and learnt absolutely nothing from it because the same tit heads are still running the show as in those ones that strategically reviewed themselves.

….ligament injuries normally occur after a single incident and the pain is excruciating if you come off a straight line. Lampard says DCL feeling some pain on one side of the knee.

i dare say the scan has identified the problem, just hope rest cures it.

Absolutely , but unfortunately strikers represent some of the most valued assets that a club trades. Finding a player capable of performing at an affordable cost was always going to be difficult and lengthy, unless we were lucky.
We also have to allow that a striker of any quality will in all likelihood have better options than relegation battling Everton.
I would rather we didn’t rush a purchase just for the sake of a getting a warm body in though.
Rondon is an example of signing a second rate option who ends contributing nothing but a needless expense on the payroll.

Godfrey mirroring my reaction when i opened twitter to see our 1 striker is out for 4-6 weeks, 3 days before the season starts.

Not allowed nice things. And yes he'll most likely miss the Derby.

Happens to everyone apparently every season, evens itself out, just bad luck

Must just be amazing bad luck that we can’t keep any players fit ever and nothing to do with our exemplary medical team and world class training facility

Im pretty certain one of the main fitness/conditioning blokes at the club is related to a former player of ours or something like that.

Kenwright's Jobs for the lads as usual.

I think we dont take the medical science part seriously enough.
It was way better under Moyes, and you sense theres a reason for that.
