Right enough @Marius57, there are many factors surrounding injuries, which are, of course, all part of the game.

However, Everton appear to have so many training ground injuries These are in addition to injuries suffered during warm ups. So many of them are muscle injuries. I don't know if this is correct, but we appear to have more, if you like, self inflicted injuries, in comparison to injuries suffered during games. If not, the ratio seems unacceptably high.

A question for somebody far more knowledgeable than myself, has this phenomena worsened since we have been at Finch Farm? There have been far too many managers and coaches and trainers and medical staff with different techniques for this to be now merely coincidence. FF is the only constant.

A bit like our injury record. Constantly sodding abysmal.
A few players have been injured with alarming regularity. I'd say its aays more about them than any particular training regime.

Delph
Mina
Tosun
DCL

All spend large parts of last season (numerous seasons in the both formers cases).

Whatever it is - it isn't "bad luck"

Look at our relatively good injury record under Moist and his backroom staff.

Now look at West Hams relatively good injury record under Moist and his backroom staff.

El Loco came in, dismantled the whole thing and it hasn't been the same since with managers under Brands tenure as DOF all having the same problems. Benitez tried to change it but wasn't given enough time, maybe Lampard can rip it up and fully change the whole department but as Eggs mentioned the pitches at FF etc may also need sorting but if the medical team aint piping up then who's going to bring this kind of thing to the owner in Monaco's attention ?
Mate 'f' off about the FSW, him rushing DCL back and him breaking down is the biggest cause of his ongoing problems

Not the first time Benetez did it either, string rumours at the time he did the same thing with Torres - which effectively led to him breaking down repeatedly the rest of his career.

Utter skid mark on this club.

I agree completely. We can't just keep blaming the training program and warmup, because every manager does it differently. Moyes was renowned for putting the players through hell in pre season whereas koeman, by accounts I've read, it was a bit of a doss.

So each manager will do it their own way. So either, we are actively signing players who are weaker and more likely to get injured (I some cases we have like delph), or, there is an underlying issue somewhere because the staff have changed several times.

Like I say, this pre season, we have been allright injury wise on the whole (aside frim precautionary gray, and whatever happened to mina again). The only real one is with a player who struggled last season for a mixture of reasons, now getting injured again.

So, back to the usual suspects then ie, our amazing recruitment staff.
This could be why the players signed by Moyes fared slightly better because he did most of the scouting and assessing himself.
Not being funny, but I thought he would have made a very good DOF.

A good injury record under moyes?

Jagielka, arteta, yakubu, anichebe all had ACL/Achilles type stuff that had them out for months.

We’ve always had an issue because we’ve only ever been able to rely on a small number of decent players instead of a big squad.

He had already said his head was not in it but was now fuly fit. You make stuff up to moan
And what does that do to change anything I said?

He has had 12 bad months of injuries going on to 18 probably when he's sorted this latest one out. The few occasions he had played in between he was crap.

It's worrying to see from what's supposed to be our starting striker. He's not to blame but the situation isn't good is it?

He was out August to April and now 5 weeks with a freak accident. so not even 9 months and you’re making out like he’s wheelchair bound.
Bizarre over reaction
