How so mate?
He can't create by himself obviously, that's not a pop at him. He's not that type of player. But we don't create anything for him, he's injury prone and he's not really putting himself about like he used to
Also he's still terrible at one on ones. And, since we don't create much, we need much much better than him when we do what little creation we have.
I saw him today strolling around, he didnt have the sharpness or desire that he did before his injury. There was too much lethargy from many players today.

It looked to me like the team were told not to press. I truly hope I am wrong but it really did appear to be a "stand off, keep your shape" tactic.
Let's be honest, even if he did press, how would that have benefited us? The midfield were about 30 yards behind him. He would have literally been chasing a whole back 4 on his own.
well that worked well, if you cant hold shape against the bottom of the league at home, a team who seemed to run through our midfield with ease, we are fooked. Saints showed a desire that we didnt, they were hungrier in the second half, their forwards caused our defenders issues. We haven't got any forwards to speak of.
These days, I am going Goodison because I want to experience Goodison before it's gone forever. The team are an annoying blot on the landscape.
