unless Dr Shipman is doing their medicals, we're gonna be stuck with this joker til he retires.Reckon he’ll go to Palace for about £6m when we go down.
Which Calvert Lewin was that. I must have missed that one.I miss the Dominic Calvert-Lewin from before Ancelotti tbh, the tap in merchant was great, but I miss the Dominic Calvert-Lewin that used to harass defenders, chase down lost causes and worked the channels. We carry too many passengers now.
Under Silva, admittedly he was a poor finisher. But he used to always be moving, trying to find space, occupy defenders. Now he just stands near a CB.Which Calvert Lewin was that. I must have missed that one.
No he's still a really really big worry. Why is this lad getting stick? Completely isolated, no service, imagination or creativity behind him.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the least of our worries.
Because he’s not scoring on haalands level it seems mateWhy is this lad getting stick? Completely isolated, no service, imagination or creativity behind him.

He can't create by himself obviously, that's not a pop at him. He's not that type of player. But we don't create anything for him, he's injury prone and he's not really putting himself about like he used toHow so mate?
I saw him today strolling around, he didnt have the sharpness or desire that he did before his injury. There was too much lethargy from many players today. Why is this lad getting stick? Completely isolated, no service, imagination or creativity behind him.

It looked to me like the team were told not to press. I truly hope I am wrong but it really did appear to be a "stand off, keep your shape" tactic.I saw him today strolling around, he didnt have the sharpness or desire that he did before his injury. well that worked well, if you cant hold shape against the bottom of the league at home, a team who seemed to run through our midfield with ease, we are fooked. Saints showed a desire that we didnt, they were hungrier in the second half, their forwards caused our defenders issues. We haven't got any forwards to speak of.It looked to me like the team were told not to press. I truly hope I am wrong but it really did appear to be a "stand off, keep your shape" tactic.
Let's be honest, even if he did press, how would that have benefited us? The midfield were about 30 yards behind him. He would have literally been chasing a whole back 4 on his own.

These days, I am going Goodison because I want to experience Goodison before it's gone forever. The team are an annoying blot on the landscape.
