All hail GOT's medical experts.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will come good after an unfortunate spell of luck.
His class is permanent.
I can't help thinking, like Gordon before him, some of the ire shown in this thread is down to how he looks and dresses. Sad times.
Probably my favourite Everton striker. Just had a gift for taking shots early or not when you expected him to. Most goals just caught the keeper out.The Yak was great until his achilles went. Proper goal scorer who could find the net in all sorts of scenarios.
Needed proper grafters around him though as he did next to nothing else ?
Broken!!
??
It’s called injured
Remember when he bounced that Liverpool defender. Happy timesThe Yak was great until his achilles went. Proper goal scorer who could find the net in all sorts of scenarios.

NoSo is he officially out for the derby then ?
100% this.I agree.
The lad has some talent but not up to the rigours of full time training and matches.
We should be allowing a system wher we concentrate on getting him on the pitch - like Ledley king and Paul McGrath - if this involves reduced training So be it
Even when playing badly, always felt we were still in the game when he was in the team. That’s the value of a real goalscorer. The Yak was great until his achilles went. Proper goal scorer who could find the net in all sorts of scenarios.

Absolutely this
Why?Mate have you not embarrassed yourself enough on this forum? It’s painful.
Continuing with that logic, we wouldn't have bought Peter Reid or Andy Gray, as they were faulty equipment before they came to usIf you have a piece of equipment in a key operating line at work in a position that’s critical to being able to function as a business you normally replace it or at least give it a professional overhaul whilst the new, upgraded version is built. You don’t get emotional about it and leave it in the line hoping it’ll revert to its original efficacy.
Whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not a machine and has feelings and emotions the end result of you doing nothing is the same. No production or at best sub-standard production, customer complaints, returns, loss of business and ultimately closure. I’m sure Dominic Calvert-Lewin isn’t faking anything and it’s genuine - but as is often said the Club is bigger and more important than any one individual.
Failing to bring in even a stop-gap forward is gross negligence.
