Maybe it's because it's a problem that's none of our business, protecting him. Usually training video shows the players who do invidual sessions but he wasn't.
Well, managers are usually quite open about injuries so yes, the continued evasiveness does suggest they are trying to protect or hide something. Whether it’s the player or their own interest in preserving his value or covering their negligence in diagnosing and treating his original injury - who knows. As to why it’s our business, nobody said it was but I’d rather they just say they don’t want to discuss his injury if that’s the case. Better than trotting out the same tired vague responses for going on 18 months.

Have you considered they might be protecting the player because of mental as opposed to physical issues? Dom has spoken in the past of his struggles. I will not speculate on his mental health as I find that below the belt but there's likely more to this and people should back off.

First - Dominic Calvert-Lewin is no doubt the best goalscoring forward we have at the club (when fit) by a very long way.
Second - Skirt wearing is not an offence, yes it seems worse to some than the alleged issues of the Icelandic Valdemort
Third - I propose to show our solidarity that both Mens and Womens teams at EFC adopt the use of Skorts in all matches going forward!

As a show of solidarity the women’s team should wear no shorts.

jfy honey...
The original Manbag aswell...

Missing again with still no timescale on return. Dyche said he’s started running on grass (?) but not training with the team yet. Got to get himself fully fit, yada yada yada

Dyche is just saying the same things Lampard did. Something far wrong and we’re only getting half (if that) the story.
I'm sure dyche will look into the 'possible' mental aspects effecting Dom if he realises its not just injury's related.

But he certainly won't be stupid enough to come out shouting from the rooftops about it if that is the case.

Dominic Cardboard-Cut-Out as he’s affectionately known is the Paddock. Time to say cheerio DCL.
For those who say you can’t do that because of his mental health I say, sorry, but you’ve been saying we’re too sentimental for years with all the old boys on the staff and Bill still pulling the strings.
What’s important is Everton Football Club not individuals, DCL needs to be moved on for our good, and his own good. We need to replace him in his role of main striker with somebody physically and mentally able to perform.
