In my head, Onana is probably our best player but he’s been very inconsistent all season but then I think that’s been our problem all over. I would say we have lots of players: Dom, Tarkowski, Patterson, Onana, Gueye, Iwobi, even McNeil under Dyche, who are capable of very good performances but also terrible ones the next game and Dom falls under the bracket.
If he starts today he could bully their defence and finally start putting away McNeils hopeful crosses OR he could be completely anonymous and be half a yard off every cross. If all our players hit their max levels consistently we’d probably be midtable
I think this is where there is a difference between 'Better' and 'Most Important'.
Every team needs a goalscorer but a goalscorer isn't always the best player in the team..
