You think they're protecting him from criticism?

I dunno, just feels that fans that pay towards his high wages deserve a little better than Dyche fobbing off the questions regarding his fitness at each press conference.

If it is a mental thing I guess some fans will give him a lot of stick but some already are.
You dont pay anything towards his wages.

Unless your name is Sky.

No, they do not.

The fans pay to watch football, you really think your 500 quid a season pays a footballer 80k a week?

Fans buy the Sky football packages, which along with the ad and sponsorship revenue generates the money Sky use to buy the football rights, which does pay his wages.

If people didn't watch football Sky wouldn't be able to generate the money that covers players wages.

“Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience” 👌🏻

I'm saying if it's a mental health thing why on Earth should we expect the club to tell us.

So if I never pay for Sky or give Everton any money, does that mean I have no say in what the club does?

The guy is earning a shed load of money while contributing next to nothing to the team.

I don't think expecting some kind of explaination about his continuing non appearances is asking that much.

They could at least just say he has personal issues if it turns out to be for something like that.

Just my two cents but I think he has interconnected fitness issues but the medical team are struggling to tie it down to the main cause, making it hard to manage.

Who knows though.

If you were struggling with mental health would you want your employee posting it all over the world? Some perspective required I feel.

Not really but anyone working in high profile, highly paid positions is always going to be under more scrutiny.

If he really can't cope with the pressures of being a footballer he could just retire and save himself all the stress.

Personally I don't believe it is due to anything like that. Wasn't that just based on a twitter rumour?

Saying someone has personal issues isn't broadcasting anything really as it's a vague description.
