It feels like the immediate future of our club rests on Dom's shoulders.

No Dom no Premier League 2024
That's the bottom line, yes. If he misses the next two games we are gone. We are a different team with him in our starting XI.

That's a huge amount of pressure for anyone to bear, let alone a lad who has struggled with his mental health.

All we as fans can do is be as supportive of him and the rest of the players as possible.

Dom didn't have much to do in that 1st half against city the chances of him pulling up just from defending corners is pretty slim
maybe the manager just used his injury record to throw the towel in in a fixture that was only going to be one outcome no manager will admit to that which is fair enough we live to fight another day

I dunno mate he pressed well and took the ball on the spin and carried it quite well. He was putting a shift in.

I thought this also

If it came to it what is the prefered option.
play him at wolves and risk his groin going. Rest it for another full week and have him leading the line against bournemouth. I think dyche has already shown he's planned around calvert lewins fitness. I wouldnt be surprised if he had to make that call he'd go for bournemouth.

Yes, for no reason other than he would have another week to recover before Bournemouth and it would be less likely to go again during the match.

By the time we play Bournemouth it might not even be in our own hands, we have no idea if three points is enough. If he can play even 60 minutes against Wolves you have to take the risk, and if the groin pops so be it - we could leave him out and it could pop in training or five minutes into the Bournemouth game anyway.
