Good player, but very much needs to be moved on, or if that is not possible, he needs to be 2nd or 3rd choice next season. Feel bad for the kid but he cannot be relied upon.

Probably best if we see if we can move him on. He's the same as Mina, a great player but when you can't manage 10 games a season then it basically means nothing.

Two strikers this summer, keep Simms around as an option. Loan Cannon out again.

Not sure what type of wage he is on, but we are going to get peanuts for him so I'd rather keep him and hopefully get 18-20 games out of him.

I said this when Kean was brought in that "that 9 isn't meant for you to just take". It was crass and not really with merit but meant to say Kean was a much much better striker than Dom. But at this point he is the backup. There really can not be any "you'll be here when he is not fit" because he's not fit. Ever.

DCL was at the game and was clearly elated when we scored and when we won.

The lad clearly has some physical issues and also some psychological issues that he's touched on before now, but given how brilliant he is on the rare occasion that he does play... it's worth keeping him as backup. We'd only get about £10million for him if we sold him anyway.

With the way things have worked out probably a blessing he picked up that latest niggle removing any doubts he is a permacrock. He has to be just a backup from now on
