a big blow.

when he came off against wolves, there was no sign of injury. he wasn't limping or anything.

whereas i was confident before, i'm starting to feel a bit loose.

We didn't need him to get wins against Leeds and Brentford.

It is what it is. He's been involved in 7 of the 17 games since Dyche took over. We won 9 points in those games and 9 in the 10 games he didn't take part in.

Is it tougher? Yes. But not enormously so. He scored 1 penalty in those 7 games he's played under Dyche.

Final day: throw the kitchen sink at this and we wont fall short.

We just need to get rid of him at this point. I know that it's not his fault, its not like he wants to get injured but the fact of the matter is that he simply can't be counted on. He's one of the few sellable players we have, we'd be better off just cutting our loses imo.

I don’t know what planet you’re on if you think there was “no sign of injury” when he came off against Wolves. You’re talking here like you thought he was fit and have only just found out that he’s injured?

Probably a bit harsh from me, but he has tweaked his hamstring not torn it, your telling me for the last game of the season he cant have a pain killer injection and be on the bench available for the last 10-15 minutes if we need a goal to retain our PL status.

if it was a ligament injury, tight back, sore shoulder etc yes. if he had flu sure he’d bang a load of painkillers and decongestants and crack on. if your hamstring is strained then no you can’t play through it. you can’t sprint, you can’t jump, you can’t swing your leg. he would be useless and only end up getting brought off, damaging himself further and lowering morale further

the lad is clearly desperate to play. if your hamstring is hurt not even terry butcher is playing through it

Is there another Everton who you think would buy a permacrock? Sellable usually means 'not injured '

If you've tweaked your hamstring walking is painful, but it's not just a case of pain or battling through it. If it was I'm sure he would. A slight hamstring strain needs to be rested. If you try to run with it (which would feel pretty much impossible) it would cramp up or even tear. Like a car with blown tyres. Not the end of the world and can be resolved but if you continue to drive fast you'll cause massive damage.
