Hate is a strong word.
I just don't think he is a very good player, add to the fact he's never fit, I just don't get the way some people go on about him tbh.
When fit he is a top CF .... where you posting on here when he was scoring week in week out ? Under Carlo, England international & you say he is not a good player ?
Short memory plus if he is injured - what can he do - if he can't make it back it will be a big miss for us imo

Because after that he was back to his usual not scoring muchfor the rest of the season.
When he's fit, he's a decent Premier league striker, nothing more. Being injured and not having another decent Premier league forward has made fans think he's prime Pele because the other options are ridiculously bad ( not his fault the club have failed in that department)

The odd joke/comment aside I don't really post on this thread often.
He's 100% better than what we have now, plus if he was fit other clubs would be in for him - I agree if his injuries are permanent, he will fade away, but his leading the line v Arsenal in Dyches first game was instrumental in us winning that day - pure class if fit leading our top line - the ball sticks - plus when fit with the correct supply he would be back to scoring goals for us ....

Ye no doubting he's better than what we have now mate, but that's not hard because our other options stink.
Hope he does come back fit this season, because i don't think we will struggle at the bottom if we only most games, we absolutely most replace him or get a good number 9 in though to compete with him

Aye type if signing we should be making, if/when we sell maupay you'd expect us to sign another striker ( it is everton tho so maybe not )
Selling Maupay will be problem as who the help wants him?
He's about as effective as DCL- and he is out with injury......
