I reckon bench and bench again mate. We simply can't afford him to break down and we need him to have full confidence in his fitness. It's an absolute pain in the arse but small steps is what's needed. 25/30 minutes tonight, gets him closer to another 30 and then hopefully a start in the coming weeks.
At some point we need him to start football matches to find out if he can cope with playing 70 minutes +

People believing we can rely on this 'kin divvy to get us goals.

How on earth can anyone believe such tripe?
The fact that he scored 29 times pre his main injury last season and 3 once fit including the one that kept us up

Fully fit and given service Dom will score goals 100%

It is. Seems a bit silly speculating on things you can't prove doesn't it
With respect, any of us discussing the future or how things would be if x had not happened are doing just that. Even things that have happened are subject to a variety of views.
It is a fact that DCL was becoming a top striker prior to that injury and that was a majority opinion.

Never been a top striker and never will be. He is a decent lower mid striker. Never been consistent, head goes with the majority of one on one's and is seemingly a sick note

He’d scored something like 7 in 30 before he got his first injury last season, don’t know where this narrative has come from that he was some sort of goal machine. He is a mid table Premier League striker who has purple patches every now and again. But a mid table striker is still a hell of a lot better than what we’re currently working with in the final third and so he walks back into the team.

If he played every game from now until the end of the season in this current side with the service he’ll be getting I reckon he’d get about 8 goals.
