From what I understand, there is a specific rehabilitation and examination programme where they've been checking/scanning for small damage after games.
He appears to have overcome this hurdle, so if he comes past the next behind closed door match and similar examinations, he will become available.
It's frustrating that he wasn't available yesterday, however if we want him back and to stay back we've got to trust this process (play, check, strengthen).

People saying we win that comfortably if DCL was playing seem to forget all the clear cut chances he misses. This is a player that is 26 and has had a half decent season in his career. Or has he suddenly become a world beater with all the time he spent on the sidelines ?

This. Dyche seems to believe he has some magic ideas that no one else has thought of and that Dom is going to be playing week in week out after following his miraculous ‘rehab programme.’ It’s inevitable that he will break down in training and won’t be seen again before Christmas. On the back of 2 halves in preseason there’s absolutely no excuse for him not to have at least been on the bench yesterday. It’s cost us at least 1 point, if not 3.
